Albert Joseph Brodeur

March 22, 1954 — February 4, 2024

Command Sergeant Major (Ret) Albert Joseph Brodeur, 69, of Clarksville, Tennessee passed on February 4th, 2024. Albert “Al” was born in Grafton, North Dakota to the late Grace (Demers) Brodeur and Paul Brodeur.

A career Soldier, Al was highly decorated and served with distinction as the 101st Airborne Division Artillery Command Sergeant Major and subsequently Garrison Command Sergeant Major. He was awarded the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star, four Meritorious Service medals, numerous Army Accommodation medals and Army Achievement Medals, and the Air Assault Badge.

Al is survived by his wife, Celeste (Svenson Bell) Brodeur, his 5 children Brian Brodeur (43) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jonathan (Cassandra) Brodeur (39) of Conroe, Texas, stepsons Michael Bell (46), Andrew Bell (44), and daughter MaKenzie (Jovan) Saint Julien (22) of Clarksville, Tennessee.  Siblings are Bill Brodeur, Lee Brodeur, Ramona Keeley, Paula Winterland and Sandi Houdek. His eight Grandchildren are Blaze Brodeur (21), Javon Steffin (20). Camryne Bell (19), Jade Brodeur (18), Aryanna Brodeur (18), Carly Brodeur (16), Jaina Brodeur (14), Lucas Brodeur (11).

He will be deeply missed by his wife, family and friends. His memory will forever be a blessing to those who knew him.
