Angela "Chic" Moore

Angela Maria Moore was born March 22, 1966, in Clarksville, Tennessee to the union of James and Bessie Floyd Moore. This vibrant life came to an end too soon on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at her residence in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Angela was educated in the Clarksville Montgomery County Public School System and was a proud graduate of Clarksville High Class of 1984.

Angela accepted Christ in her life at an early age and was united with St. Peter AME Church. She was employed by the State of Tennessee Dept of Corrections for over 35 years.

“Chic” as she was called by her friends and family was loved by everyone whose life she touched. She was a proud member of the Motorcycle Club. She enjoyed riding, traveling and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her mother Bessie Moore.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving father, James R. Moore, brother, Lawrence (Deborah) Godfrey, niece, Brittney Godfrey, nephew, Dedrick Paris, great-nephew, Lamarr Godfrey, cousins, Felicia (Garfield) Scott, Lamont (Kim) Trotter, LaMia Johnson, Andrew Moore, special aunt, Linda Faye Price, devoted friends, Rev. Dr. Lisa Hammonds, Rhonda Bussell, Lisa Long, Kesha (Tony) Williams, Amberleigh (Keith) Cole, several other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
