On August 2, 2003 Ernest married the love of his life Linda Sue Moreis. They have enjoyed 21 years of marital bliss. Linda and Ernest are members of Means Avenue Baptist Church, where Ernest served as a Deacon.

Ernest was a creator, he had a passion for creating personalized woodcarving for family and friends. He enjoyed cooking, grilling and smoking his specialty beef brisket. He was a “Super Fanatic” Kansas City Chiefs fan. He enjoyed the simple things life offers talking, laughing, dancing and spending precious time with family.

His daughters Shanita and Erina, his brothers Richard (Karen), Andre, Shawn, Michael(Lisa), Robin and Sonya.
