Glodean Moody

Glodean Moody was born July 28, 1952, in Todd County, Kentucky the daughter of Robert West, Jr and Florence Hatcher Ogburn. She transitioned from this life into eternal rest on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Tennova Medical Center in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Glodean Professed a hope in Christ at an early age at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.

Glodean was a graduate of the Historic Burt High School class of 1970. She was employed by Bosch for several years and was blessed to retire.

In her spare time Glodean enjoyed being with family, laughing, and having a good time. Our beloved mama, sister, and auntie will be truly missed by us and all those who knew and loved her.

Glodean was preceded in death by her parents, Robert West, Jr. and Florence Hatcher Ogburn, brothers, Jessie, Paul Henry, Ricky, Jerry Wayne, Robert Lee, David and Garfield, sisters, Linda Johnson, Faye Kilgore, Patricia Broadie and Mary Graves.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are her daughters, Alisha (Sedrick) Rogers, Essence Moody, Kashonna Shelton and Ashley (Tyrell) Singletary, son, Larry Moody, Jr., grandchildren, Darion Rogers, Danesha Rogers, Shomari Moody, Armani Marroquin, Jameel Ross, Samiyah Brown, I’yanna Shelton, Ariyanna Brown, and Makaylah Arnold, great grandchildren, Kyng and Kharee Rogers, sisters, Jeanette Byars, Reatta (Billy) Marable, Brenda Sue Jackson, and Maxine Carneal, brother, Rev. Charles (Alice) West, sisters in love, Janice Moody, Joyce Brown, Yulanda Pillow, and Rayetta West as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
