Haven Hoosier

Mr. Haven Elliott Hoosier was born June 21, 1955, to the parents Jeff and Margaret Lyle Hoosier in Clarksville, Tennessee. He departed this earthly life on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Signature Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clarksville, Tn.

Haven accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was united with New Providence Baptist Church. He was educated in the Clarksville Montgomery County Schools and attended Historic Burt High School.

Haven and his family owned a local gas station named H&H Service Station and H&H Sports Bar where he wore many hats.

In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sports, playing cards, fishing, bowling, and was a self-proclaimed professional gambler.

He was preceded in death by both his parents Jeff and Margaret Hoosier, daughter Shawnara Hoosier brothers : Herman Hoosier and George Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory-are his children, Mark Hoosier, Marcus Meriwether, Haven Hoosier, Howard Gentry, Demtrius Gentry, Hitara McCloud Diana Allen, sister- Linda Thomas niece, Angela Walker, nephews, Noble Thomas and Shawn Thomas, as well as a host of other family and friends.
