Linda Quarles-Suggs

July 25, 1956 — July 30, 2023

Linda Quarles-Suggs was born on July 25, 1956 to the parents of Robert Quarles Sr. and Margie Quarles both of Clarksville TN. Linda entered the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 30, 2023. Linda accepted Christ during her teenaged years and affiliated with Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church where she joined her sisters as a member of the youth choir. Linda was educated in the Clarksville Montgomery County Public Schools, where she attended the historic Cobb Elementary and Burt High Schools. She graduated from Clarksville High School in the class of 1974. After high school she entered into holy matrimony with Rosendo (Rudy) Suggs and moved to California. From this union their beloved daughter Krishna (Krissy) Suggs was born. They became residents of the state of California for twenty plus years. While in California Linda became a long-time employee of Costco Wholesale. She also worked for the Metropolitan Nashville Parks Department.

Linda loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her love for life reflected in her spirit and soul. The very essence of her love was displayed in the dedication and care for her daughter and grandson Krishaun. Linda also loved her family unconditionally. She was a lover of music and would dance at the drop of any beat. During her illness she never complained or felt sorry for herself. She stayed positive and full of jokes with her infectious laugh. She faced death with her faith and her never ending truth in the Lord who delivered her into eternal rest.

Linda was preceeded in death by her parents Robert Quarles Sr. and Margie Quarles, sister Wilma Quarles-Long, brother Robert Quarles Jr. and niece Day’us Lewis-Davis.

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Rosendo (Rudy) Suggs, daughter Krishna (Krissy) Suggs, grandson Krishaun Sanders, sisters Patricia (James) Halford, Barbara Quarles, LaTonya Quarles-Long all of Clarksville and Tracie Fisher of Virginia, brothers Thomas (Melodye) Quarles and John (Kim) Gregory of Chicago, sister’s in-law Paulette Suggs and Beverly Reynolds, brother in-law Jimmy Suggs and mother-in-law Mrs. Julia Suggs, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. May the peace of our Lord give her REST.
