Robert Lee Pearson, III.

September 13, 1956 — August 1, 2025

Robert Lee Pearson, III, affectionately known as "Baby Brother," passed away on August 1, 2025, at his residence in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was born on September 13, 1956, to the proud parents Robert Pearson II and Juanita Pearson in Clarksville, where he spent his formative years.

Robert accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, joining the Haynes Baptist Church before later uniting with The Bible Church of the Living God, where he remained a devoted member until his passing. He was a diligent student, attending Clarksville Public Schools and graduating from Clarksville High School in the Class of 1975.

On June 19, 1978, Robert married Mrs. Shirley Bradley Pearson. From this loving union, they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Shaquita. Throughout his life, Robert worked in various capacities within the Clarksville community, including roles as a butcher at Mobley’s and as a security guard at the Zinc Plant, contributing to the local economy and earning the respect of those who knew him.

As "Baby Brother," he was beloved by family and friends alike. Robert cherished the moments of love and laughter spent with his family and had a passion for BBQ, often gathering with loved ones to enjoy good food and company. He was an avid fan of westerns, particularly "Gunsmoke," and took great enjoyment in watching football, supporting his favorite teams, the Seattle Seahawks and Alabama "ROLL TIDE."

Robert was the only son among five siblings and is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Juanita Pearson, two sisters: Tonza Pearson and Barbara Ann Pearson.

He leaves behind cherished memories with his loving daughter, Shaquita (Robert) Vance; stepson, Anthony (Frankie) Bradley; and sisters Karen (James) Harris, Garnetta (Dorsey) Money, and Carol Henson. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Keondra (Deion) Sanders, Kalia (Benjamin) Patterson, Erica (Terrance) Burney, Lashae Bradley, Eric Bogle, and Kayla Bradley, Shakiah Vance and Robert Vance, III, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Robert Lee Pearson, III will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
