Robert West

Mr. Robert Lee West was born June 5, 1955 in Logan County, Kentucky to the late Robert West Jr. and Florence Hatcher West. Robert finished his course on Monday, March 11, 2024 at AHAVA Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clarksville, Tennessee.

 Robert received his education in the Clarksville Montgomery County School System and graduated from Montgomery Central High School. Early in age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church.

 “BEAR” as he was affectionately called by family and friends, loved spending time outside; you would often see him walking enjoying the sunshine on many occasions. Robert never met a stranger and loved spending quality time with family and friends.

Robert worked at various farms throughout Tennessee and Kentucky. He worked at Elm Hill Meats in Nashville, Tn., as well as incorporating landscaping jobs. He also worked at Haynes pool room where he was known as the LEGEND.

 Robert was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers Paul, David, Garfield, Jerry, Ricky, and Jessie. 4 sisters Linda Johnson, Mary Graves, Patricia Brodie, and Faye Kilgore.

 He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving daughter LaTasha Mumford, grandson, Dantavion Welch, brother, Rev. Charles (Alice) West Clarksville, Tn., sisters, Jeanette Byers, Hopkinsville, Ky., Glodean Moody, Reatta (Billy) Marable, Brenda Jackson, and Maxine Carneal, all of Clarksville, beloved friend, Kim Jordan and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
