Roger Harris Holmes

Roger Harris Holmes passed away after a tragic accident on January 31, 2025. He was born on October 24, 1952, to the late Martha Pike (Thompson) in Burlington, Vermont. His family moved to Clarksville, where he attended and graduated from Clarksville High School. 

After graduation, he worked at the IGA grocery store on Madison Street, where he was well known in the community for his jokes and infectious laugh. He went on to work for Bo's Pools for many years and later held jobs with several landscaping companies. Everyone who knew him loved his sense of humor and knew he was fiercely loyal. Proceeding him in death is his mother, Martha Thompson, step-father Clarence Thompson, and brother Duane Thompson.

Left to cherish his memory, his sister Michele (Joseph) Dockery Chattanooga, TN, nephew Joseph Dockery III, niece Mesha Dockery and best friend for over 32 years John Paul Potter.
