Savannah Holmes

Ms. Savannah Louise Holmes was born August 18, 1939 in Cunningham, Tennessee to the union of Adolph Holmes and Stella Rogers Holmes. She departed this peaceful life on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Savannah accepted Christ in her life at an early age and was united with the Sulphur Springs A.M.E. Church. She was educated in the Montgomey County Schools and was a graduate of Historic Burt High School.

Savannah relocated in to New Your City where she was employed by Romans Department Store for many years. She returned home and was employed by the State of Tennessee.

In her spare time Savannah enjoyed playing piano and singing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memories are her brother, Floyd (Opal) Holmes, niece, Shirley Phillips, nephews, Anthony Phillips, Mark, Stephen and Michael Holmes, a host of cousins family and friends
