Beloved daughter, niece and sister gained her wings on May 8th, 2023 in her home in Miami, Florida. Tonia Louise Scott blessed us with her presence on April 15th,1981 at Geary County Hospital in Junction City, Kansas. She was greeted by her mother, Jacqueline Louise Ramey of Clarksville, TN, her father, Edward J. Scott of Rex, GA, and her big sister, Angela Nichole Purvis of Stockbridge, GA. Three years later she would get the chance to welcome her little brother, Trent Damone Scott of Clarksville, TN and five years after his appearance she would welcome her baby brother, Arthur Fulson IV of Oxon Hill, MD.
She will be sorely missed and was survived by them all including her beloved uncles Eddie Lee Ramey of Clarksville, TN and Antonio Ramey of Clarksville, TN. Her step-mom, Sandra Scott and brother Dexter Scott. Her nieces, Ilana Y. Colon-Waters of Stockbridge, GA and Miasia M. Scott of Jacksonville, NC, several cousins and dear relatives as well as her favorite being of all- her furbaby, Miko, who will never forget her undying love for him.
Waiting on the other side to welcome her with open arms and help her along her journey is her grandfather, Elbert Scott (1982), her brother Baby Edward Scott Jr. (1984), her granddad, James B. Ramey (2008), Ruby Jean Ramey aka Aunty Deanie (2010), her grandma, Ruby Delle Ramey (2018), her uncle James Jr. Ramey (2019) and grandmother, Thelma Scott (2019).
Tonia set off on her desire to live in a new & exciting city in 2013 with Miami, Florida in mind. Here she began volunteering in an animal shelter and working as a chef on- as our mom says- “them big boats” although her love for her dog kept her shore side. She had such unconditional love for animals which prompted her to get her Veterinarian Assistance License at Animal Behavioral College of Miami, FL.
Tonia’s favorite thing to do (and these were her words) was minding her own damn business as you should do too. She enjoyed her Reality tv and could give you the run down if you needed catching up as well as researching any and every topic she found interesting including your business if you gave her a reason to look. We can’t leave out that she had a Masters Degree in talking shhhhhh.
