God called him home April 3, 2026. He was born in Montgomery County to Mance Daniel and Lou William Daniel. He graduated from Montgomery Central High School. He also served time in the Military.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lou William Daniel and Mance Daniel and two siblings Mary Ann Cunningham and Dorise Mance Daniel.
He leaves behind a daughter Keya (Phillip), Maxwell, one grandson Enzio Maxwell, four sisters Delma West, Hattie (Martin) Mccoin, Laura Byers, Minor Newt Lightning and one brother William Edd Daniel and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Walter Douglas Daniel was a man whose presence brought strength, love, and quiet resilience to those who knew him. He lived his life with a steady spirit, leaving behind memories that will be cherished by family and friends alike.
As a father, Walter’s love was constant and meaningful. He leaves behind his daughter, who will forever carry his memory in her heart, and his legacy continues through his grandson, who was a source of pride and love in his life.
Walter will be remembered for the impact he made, the life he lived, and the moments shared with those closest to him. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will remain a guiding presence in the lives of those who loved him.
