Wanda Faye Ellis-Bourne

June 17, 1944 — January 16, 2022

Wanda Faye (Ellis) Bourne was born June 17, 1944 to Ora M. Reese and Willie Ellis. She went to Clarksville Montgomery County schools, and graduated from Burt High School, class of 1962.
Faye, as she was called by the family, was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, in Clarksville Tennessee. She worked at the Army & Air Force Exchange Service and retired after more than 30 years.
Faye loved giving to others and was loved by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed Christmas, birthdays and any gathering with family and friends. Although, not the oldest of her siblings, she would say she was designated by her mother as being the boss of everyone.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Ora M. Reese, father Willie Ellis, husband Delano R. Bourne, brothers Earvin M. Williams and Philbert E. Reese.
She will be lovingly remembered by her three sons, Donald G. Ellis (Falicia), Danny D. Ellis, Patrick L. Ellis (Regina) grandchildren, Alicia Ellis and Alexia Ellis, Trimesha Mason and Robert Edwards.

Also left to cherish her memory are her three loving sisters Margaret L. Dale (Fred), Mary H. Otey (Fred), Kathy L. Martin, brothers Alden Patrick Ellis, and Reverend Dr. Larry W. Ellis, (Vanderler) and sister in-law, Alberta Rogers (Thomas) a host of other relatives & friends. Funeral Tuesday, January 18, 2022, 8:30 am at Hooker Funeral Home. Interment Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
